The Story began when a pandemic struck the world by surprise. With new ‘stay at home’ orders and a lot of spare time, “Malia The Label” was born by local fashion uni student Ally Thomas.
Like most 20-year old Uni students; Ally found that her wardrobe was full of cheap, fast-fashion hanging by it’s threads. This no longer sat with her personal values… Therefore she had a vision to create a brand that was not based on fast-fleeting fashion trends, but instead focuused on quality, timeless designs and sustainable wear for pieces of enduring style.
Since originating in 2020, from a handmade to order collection, Malia has consciously evolved into a emerging designer brand.
With a Quality over quantity mindset; We work closely with small factory maker’s and artisians in Bali to produce high quality clothing in small batch quantities.
